Welcome to Como Rotary in Western Australia

Como Rotary is an open and welcoming, community-based Rotary organisation in the City of South Perth local government area of Western Australia. Our members are actively engaged across the precincts of South Perth, Como, Manning, Waterford, Karawara and Kensington.
 
Our members share a passion for community service and friendship. Through our activities, events and volunteering, we identify community needs, develop practical solutions, and take real action to make a difference - while also having social fun together.
 
In our community area, Como Rotary brings together local people from diverse backgrounds to initiate, plan and deliver meaningful local community, regional and international projects that make positive changes in people's lives. Our range of locally-focussed community support initiatives include: 
  • support of adults, families and children with disabilities
  • crisis housing
  • special needs education
  • local school youth scholarships and development opportunities
  • senior citizens support activities
  • practical support of mental health and research
  • fundraising for disease research and prevention
  • development of services for homeless people in Perth
  • environmental projects
     
    We also support and carry out practical community-aid projects in our close-neighbouring regional areas of Bali and Timor Leste, and we support Rotary International's global projects and programmes.
